EXPERIENCE:
Serial entrepreneur David Smith. Created his first commercial product when 17, Transformed the insurance industry (AIG) and the construction industry (Fischbach, Skanska, Siemens, McCormick, Accubid, Trade Service, etc..) with his real-time data and data analytics tools, It is ironic to me that, even today, other than insurance, construction, and banking real-time information is not a reality for most industries, companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Salesforce, Amazon, and Google can take between minutes and days to update info. Created ProjectTrax which was a failure due to the need for manual configuration requirements. All projects have been driven by the notion that raw data is required for analysis, legacy info must be included, and info should be updated within milliseconds to seconds. Wrote two books on productivity improvement methods and risk analysis, also founded a boutique data firm servicing Fortune 100 companies with multi $billion problems.

Founded data analysis, visualiation and collaboration company Qikspace in 2012. Qikspace started as an MIT PhD research paper (faculty advisor Patrick Winston) in late 2011 and branched into an independent research project Contextual Relevance in Human Interactions (Hive6) in 2012 and concluded in 2019 with a basis for the development of Qikspace.
